Fabric Care Recommendations

To ensure that items from FD Company bring you joy for many years and maintain their attractive appearance, it's important to care for them properly.

Special attention should be given to products with the following features:

  • complex cuts,
  • fringe,
  • relief textures,
  • decorative elements,
  • bright colors.

Such items are recommended to be washed only by hand and with caution. Please note: during the first wash, the fabric may slightly lose color (bleed).

Fringe

Fringe is a tape with one edge made of soft, loosely hanging threads. It should only be washed by hand. After washing, do not wring the item — let the water drain naturally. To prevent the fringe from unraveling, the ends can be treated with colorless stone glue or clear nail polish. It is recommended to do this before the first wash or immediately after purchase.

Biflex

Bi-flex items can be washed by hand or in a washing machine on a delicate cycle at temperatures no higher than 30 °C. Use mild detergents. Bleaches are prohibited. Wringing — only by hand. If necessary, iron on low heat. Do not dry on radiators or heaters, as the fabric loses its elasticity. Also, avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.

Velour

Velour items can be machine washed at 30 °C using a mild detergent for colored fabrics or special shampoos for fabrics with pile. Do not use bleach-based products. Ironing is not recommended, but if necessary, do it only on the reverse side. Small stains can be removed with an ordinary eraser.

Gabardine

Before washing, turn the item inside out. Machine wringing is not allowed — wring gently by hand. Dry in the shade, giving the item its shape beforehand. For ironing, use a damp cloth (e.g., gauze) and iron from the reverse side to avoid shine.

Guipure

If the lace elements are closely spaced, machine washing on a delicate cycle is acceptable. If the item has a large proportion of lace design, hand wash at 30–40 °C without wringing. Use mild liquid detergents. Dry flat, in the shade. Iron on the reverse side at a maximum of 110 °C (silk setting) through a damp cloth, without holding the iron in one place.

Crepe Diving, Micro Diving, Diving on Two-Thread

Wash by hand in warm water (up to 30 °C) or on a delicate machine cycle without wringing. Use only liquid detergents. Do not twist or rub after washing. Dry in the shade, away from heat sources. Ironing is not required.

Mesh

Regular mesh can be washed in a washing machine with regular detergent. Mesh with velour coating should be washed by hand. Printed mesh should be washed on a delicate cycle with manual wringing.

Stretch Knitwear

Wash by hand or in a washing machine on a delicate cycle at temperatures up to 40 °C. Use liquid detergents. Avoid strong wringing and high temperatures. It's better to dry at room temperature. Many items do not require ironing — simply dry them on hangers. If necessary, iron on the reverse side at up to 110 °C.

Fatin

A stiff material that does not absorb moisture. Wash by hand in warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild gel. After washing, wait for the water to drain, then shake and straighten the item. Iron at temperatures up to 100 °C through thick fabric.

Chiffon and Crepe-Chiffon

Hand wash with mild detergents in water at temperatures no higher than 30 °C. Dry flat or on hangers, avoiding sunlight. Iron at minimal heat (up to 100 °C), without steam or a sprayer.

Soft and Knitwear «Ribbed»

Wash by hand at temperatures up to 30 °C with liquid detergents. Dry soft fabric on hangers, ribbed knitwear flat. Iron at up to 110 °C on the silk setting.

Knitwear «Kulier» and «Ribana»

Wash by hand or in a washing machine at temperatures up to 30 °C. Avoid strong rubbing. It's better to wash separately to prevent pilling. Regular powders and mild stain removers are suitable. Using conditioner will give the fabric softness. Dry away from direct sunlight. Iron at medium heat, although the fabric often does not require ironing.
