Fabric Care Tips

In order for the products from «FD Company» to serve you for more than one season and retain their beautiful appearance, you need to take proper care of them.

It is always good to remember that products:

  • complex style;
  • having a fringe;
  • with many reliefs;
  • with decorative details;
  • brightly colored;

It is necessary to wash very carefully, in a delicate mode. During the first wash, the fabric may shed, please pay your attention to this.

A braid, one of the edges of which consists of a continuous row of soft, freely hanging threads. Exclusively hand wash.

Supplex products can be washed by hand or in a washing machine, but in the «gentle wash» mode. When washing, the water temperature should not exceed 30 degrees. It is recommended to wash in liquid, mild detergents, the use of bleaching agents is strictly prohibited. The ringing of the products must be carried out exclusively by hand, and ironing, if necessary, can be done with a weakly heated iron. It is strictly forbidden to dry products on heaters and batteries, because the fabric loses all its properties after stretching.

Velour items can be washed in the washing machine at a temperature of 30 degrees. Like any «fleecy» material, it is better not to expose velour to high temperatures. Choose mild powder for colored laundry or special shampoos for fluffy fabrics. Eliminate from the care of velour anything that contains whitening particles. Such fabric perfectly retains its shape and does not wrinkle, and therefore it is not recommended ironing it at all - and if ironing, then from the wrong side. If there is one speck on the thing, it can be removed with a regular eraser without soaking the thing.

When washing, turn the products inside out. You cannot wring out in the washing machine; it is better to do it with your hands and without effort. Water drains well by itself when drying. It is best to dry the products in the air in the shady zone, having previously straightened and shaped them. Ironing gabardine things is not difficult, the material is perfectly smoothed, however, it is important to use a wet piece of gauze or fabric, and iron only from the inside out. This is done to keep the fabric from shining.

Some types of guipure can be washed in the washing machine, where the lace elements are located tightly to each other, or connected with dense threads. In this case, you should use a delicate wash program. If the embossed pattern occupies 10-60% of the area of the connecting mesh, the fabric and products from it should be washed by hand. You cannot use spinning. The temperature of 30-40 degrees is enough to wash the thing, but not damage the structure of the fabric. Recommended washing in liquid, mild detergents. Dry in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. It is better to spread the product on a terry towel rather than hang it on the dryer. Guipure products should be ironed from the inside out at a heating temperature of no more than 110 degrees. This parameter corresponds to the silk mark on the knob. It is recommended to iron through a damp cloth or with a humidifier. In order not to break the mesh, you need to move the iron constantly and not hold it in one position.

Crêpe diving and micro diving

The fabric is easily washed by hand in warm water at a temperature of 30 degrees. Machine wash on a delicate cycle is acceptable, without spinning. Liquid detergents are used for washing, the use of bleach is unacceptable. The fabric requires a thorough rinse. Wet products cannot be intensively rubbed, twisted, squeezed, this leads to the destruction of the tissue structure. Products are dried naturally in the shade, away from heating appliances. Ironing is not required.

Regular mesh is machine washed with regular powders. The exception is velor-coated mesh - it claims to be hand washed, not in a washing machine. The mesh with a print is machine washable, on a delicate cycle, with a hand spin.

Stretch jersey

Hot water can damage this fabric. You can wash products by hand or in a washing machine, in a delicate mode, at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees, using liquid detergents. Other things can be ironed from the seamy side at a temperature not exceeding 110 degrees, in the mode for silk fabrics.

Very hard material and does not absorb moisture. If there are many layers of fabric, then air permeability is greatly reduced. The fabric is washed in warm water, at a temperature of 40 degrees, using a soft gel, preferably hand wash. The water is allowed to drain, then shaken, straightened and dried. The tulle is ironed at a minimum heat of 100 degrees, through a dense fabric.
